Though the comeback that accompanied Aerosmith's switch from Columbia to Geffen Records had begun with 1985's Done With Mirrors, they had to wait two years for the payoff. Permanent Vacation proved once and for all that their hiatus was actually just a temporary thing, producing hit singles like "Rag Doll" and "Dude (Looks Like A Lady)" that put them back in heavy rotation on MTV and back at the top of the hard rock pack.

Pump and Get A Grip followed in due course, proving that the group's success was no fluke. All three are available now in freshly remastered editions. They sound real good and rock like crazy. I know. It's only rock and roll. But I'm not the only one who likes it....
