DAFT PUNK
Alive 1997 (Virgin)

While I loved 2001's Discovery" I question the
relevance of this live CD, seemingly a toss off
recorded live on what appears to be a DAT
recorder at a gig. This is like playing any of
their first music at an outdoor barbecue or
birthday party, and recording it all on a high
quality boom box. It's all one long (45:31) track
too.
Trust me, if you have 1997's Homework or the new album,
then you have an adequate amount of tunage by
these guys. Wait for them to go back into the
studio, and save your money. They can't be that
broke already.
