This is, apparently, a collection of three limited-edition (looks like UK-available only) singles released by DJ/composers Fred Deakin and Nick Franglin, put together for this CD so that kids in the US can hear their body of work, too. It's full of slick-sounding instrumentals loaded with bizarre voice and instrument (strings and pianos especially) and noise samples, borderline dance music but with just the right amount of beautiful variety that I hate to lump it into that whole dance-music category. It's jazzy and groovy and fun and interesting, and so happy and light-spirited it makes me feel positively buoyant every time I put it on.
