This is, of course, the CD re-release of W. Carlos' Grammy-winning collection of J.S. Bach's fugues for string trio, adapted for the Moog synth by Carlos in 1968. Everything from the original album has been reproduced here (save the numerous pronoun/name changes in the liner notes) and remastered to crystal clarity. There's also a very strange prologue added here: an assortment of bits and pieces of synth sound experiments, narrated by Wendy Carlos, discussing how the Switched on Bach album actually came about and why some pieces were kept on and others discarded.
