Reinventing themselves as a garage pop band may throw a curve to the dedicated surf aficionados out there, but the Boss Martians do it so well that conversions will surely follow. Can't blame Evan Foster for going back to the garage and letting go - any guitarist worth his salt will eventually dabble in different styles. Funny thing the Boss Martians sound so damn at home in both styles it may create a career dilemma. Of course they may come back with a heavy metal slab just cuz.
