A throwback to the days when girls sang harmoniously and bands plucked stringed instruments of the acoustic variety, The Ditty Bops have recorded quite a lovely record here. Songs about shaking jello, pointed heads, riding bicycles and making wishes rekindle the criminally neglected fun quotient in music. Remember fun? It's here. Farm folk juiced with a nice swing, the music Abby and Amanda dish out is highly palatable, and just to keep you on your toes, they slip out of their prairie marm frocks for a couple of saucy numbers. A nicely balanced platter from these pop tarts.
