Hallelujah brother, something new and gulp, exciting. The tired pop music assembly line halts to a grinding halt as Scotland's The Beta Band take over the air waves, providing fresh sounds, comedic attitude, spacey melodies and spunky hooks. Think Pink Floyd if they weren't spent, acid casualties driving Rolls Royces and bickering over a flying pig, and if Syd Barrett was still in the fold. The latest studio wizards, The Beta Band provide the tastiest platter of the year, brimming with bubbly music and poking just the right amount of fun. Hip hip hooray!
