DEAD CEL FACTOR
Decafitated (Black Sol)

With thundering bass and drums, grinding guitar, and all the combined sludge
you can wade through, Dead Cel Factor cast a dark shadow over Birmingham,
Alabama. This ain't no southern rock, sir. This is dark, melodic, powerful
metal with enough kick to give your speakers a hell of a workout. Joe Daemon's
vocal swoops can take some getting used to, but the more you listen the more
it seems nothing else would do. Amidst all this thunder and punch is a big
surprise: a metalized cover of the Willie Nelson-penned Patsy Cline classic,
"Crazy." Can that possibly work? Only if you don't open this CD and punch in
that track first thing. It has Dead Cel Factor DNA all over it, and if you
haven't acclimated yourself to the sound first, the track makes little sense.
For pure powerburst factor, turn the volume up on "Push E" and let the wall
of sound smash you right in the face. That white-hot sound guarantees there'll
be no power outage in Birmingham anytime soon. [Visit the Dead Cel Factor website
