NAKED RAYGUN
Reissues (Touch & Go)

Though Chicago is now the hub of all that is musically cool, there was a time of hardship when bands paved the way for the now yellow brick road. Chief amongst chiefs was Naked Raygun, an unapologetic melodic punk band that spewed exciting, venomous anthems to general apathy. The recent interest in windy city punk suddenly made their vinyl back catalogue a much coveted one, and the bright folks at Touch & Go decided to go public. Reissuing all the stuff, spanning 1980-92, on CD form will surely please everyone, except for the poor sods who dished out extravagant prices for the long lost vinyl. Raygun, especially '84's Throb Throb, sounds spectacular. So much so that you'll kick yerself hard fer weeks at not being there in the first place. This is the next best thing.
