The recent reissue series of the Temptations back catalogue is incomplete without this wild live gem. Recorded at The Rooster's Upper Deck on a Motown Monday, October 3, 1966, Temptations Live! fully deserves the exclamation point. It captures the band at it's peak and an audience ready to shout and sweat the night away. The electricity fills the air as Motown's chart toppers swing through their hits, accompanied by crowd chants, hand claps and screams. Nothing like this ever appeared on any studio side, and it may well be the group's finest hour.
