TIM HARDIN
The Best Of Tim Hardin - The Millennium Collection (Polydor)
Reviewed by Shaun Dale
Tim Hardin's music is better known through covers, as in Rod Stewart's
version of "Reason To Believe" and a seemingly countless number of versions
of "If I Were A Carpenter." It could be argued, though, that nobody did his
songs better than Hardin himself, and this collection offers the uninitiated
a chance to
find out for themselves. For longtime fans, it's a great way to get a dozen
of Hardin's best songs in one place.
Track List: Don't Make Promises * Green Rocky Road * Reason To Believe *
Smugglin' Man * Misty Roses * How Can We Hang On To A Dream * It'll Never
Happen Again * If I Were A Carpenter * Red Balloon * Black Sheep Boy * Lady
