Never a pretty sight when old punks try and squeeze into their tight jeans and leather jackets, but when it was a lark the first time around, the joke works even better a quarter century later. Rubber City Rebels may have been there with Devo, Pere Ubu and the Dead Boys during Akron's punk heyday, but unlike many of their peers, they managed to disappear in short order. Under the radar? What radar? No matter, for the middle aged punks are back to give us another chance with a dozen rockin' tunes that play the smarmy comedy angle. Hey if the Dictators can pull it off, why not?
