In the grand tradition of unheralded, quirky pop meisters, Chris Knox keeps recording glorious slabs of infectious tunes better suited for the seven inch stack in the jukebox than that cold, tinny CD player. Sorta like the down under Jonathan Richman, Knox has the same zest for life and love, though with a punkier, bouncier delivery. As always true power is fond in the simplicity of the words. "I need you - I need you every single day / I want you - I want you every single way." Not gonna change the world here, but slip on "It's Love" and you'll be humming these words with that extra hop in your step tomorrow.
