Quite a deal, this: four, maybe five albums for the price of one. You'd think it was just a clash of ideals from the individual members of the quartet, but the schizophrenic nature of this beast comes from one Jon Harris. Best known as slinky guitar looper on the fab Massive Attack Mezzanine platter, Harris proves to be more than just a capable string bender, crashing through some heavy riffage one moment, prancing through delicate folky strums the next. Come along for the ride, cuz the record proves much more than an exploratory noodle in sonic fluctuation. A down right sizzling excursion into all that is rock, One Minute Science is a formidable entrance that shant be overlooked.
