THE DAMNED
Grave Disorder (Nitro)
Reviewed by John Sekerka
Well I'll be damned, old punks just keep on going. With long tooth pulled, Dave
Vanian and Captain Sensible resurrect the ghost of '76 and by gub if it don't
sound too bad. Patricia Morrison, who has played bass with The Cramps and
Sisters of Mercy, continues to pad her resume though adding little to the mix.
Not much changes in the Damned camp, the ghoulish Vanian veers from goth croon
to spunky, classic Brit punk, delivering two new classics for the next comp:
"Democracy" and "Neverland." The latter a jumpy number that'll fit nicely next
to "Neat Neat Neat." The faithful will be most pleased.
