What could be better than a new record by our favourite wrestling masked guitar band? One with guest vocalists tackling glorious sixties nuggets, that's what. The all instro Straitjackets do what they do best, lay down superb hot rodding surf sounds, while the likes of Dave Alvin, Nick Lowe and Reverend Horton Heat step up to the mike. There's a definite latino feel here with El Vez, Big Sandy and Raul Malo (on "Black is Black" of course), giving the record a cross border TexMex AM radio feel. If you ever wondered what Spanish versions of "Tallahassie Lassie," "King Creole" and "Mother In Law" sound like then look no further. The hits just keep on coming, and boy does it feel good.
