Wayne Wang's latest steamy piece of celluloid gets an equally steamy soundtrack. Laika, Nicky Love, Euphoria, Bebel Gilberto, Suba ... the lights are dimming automatically. This certainly has the feel of a classic makeout album, or a late night driving around album (same diff really); something missing from the music scene in the new millennium. Oddly enough it finishes with a Joe Henry track that doesn't seem all that out of place. Go figure.
