NERF HERDER
American Cheese (Honest Don's)

The land may be overrun with punk bands, and most of them suck, but there's always room to give an ear for someone with a bloody sense of humour. Nerf Herder have always sung with tongue-in-cheek, and I've always been able to understand what the hell they're on about. But enough about the great mysteries of life, on to the record. Starting off in fine fashion the boys get right to it with the anthemic "Welcome to my World," a guide to their late-night tv viewing, alcohol consuming, cig smoking lifestyle: "nicotine and the Brady Bunch," you get the drift. Yup, there's nothing subtle about these boys, and they're darn funny too. And the peppy punk pop ain't too bad neither.
