U.K. SUBS/NATIONAL RAZOR
Gruesome Twosome Vol. 1 (VMS)

Reviewed by Alan Wright

Seven newly recorded Subs tracks featuring the Harper/Gibbs/Garrett line-up that really rips. Lotsa shouted backing vox and killer guitar work, plus a reggae/punk workout of Thunderclap Newman's "Something In The Air." The "dub" version is a bit unnecessary, though. National Razor are real good, melodic punk and they do a great version of Slaughter And The Dogs' "Situations."
