Apparently you pronounce it Zsu Zsu, like the lost Gabor sister, or how Colonel Klink would pronounce foot apparel. Huh. Remember these guys? Covered Tracy Chapman's "Fast Car" - that's them. An experimental pop band throwing everything and the kitchen sink in yer ears, sneaking in disturbing lyrics all the while. Just when things get all musical and all, Xiu Xiu (basically boy genius James Stewart) tear it all down in confounding fashion. Build destroy, build destroy. Tension baby, let's art! There's too much going on here for just one sitting, and patience will be rewarded with some beautiful segments. Take note though: this is serious music for serious listeners. Dress accordingly.
