He's the Veteran of many a fine hip hop compilation (Defenders of the Underworld in particular), and superb cameos on Dilated People's The Platform record, and Balance by the Swollen Members. Now it's his solo turn… Good, but not great. "The Hold" is the lone standout on this CD, and I was really excited finding this album. I'm just bummed that there isn't much to it this time around. The beats are cool, the production (by Mumbles) is great, and (don't get me wrong Aceyalone is a FANTASTIC emcee. His "Super Human Hip Hop Head" track (off the Defenders comp) is a great song, so I really had my hopes way up for A Book of Human Language. Hopefully its sequel is stronger.
