D.O.A.
Something Better Change (Sudden Death)

Reviewed by John Sekerka

The early rally cry of Joey Shithead, spewing punk venom in the late seventies from the West coast is collected here on fourteen vital historic tracks. With Chuck Biscuits in the fold, this is the definitive D.O.A. that upset so many. Shithead's rapid fire delivery has a youthful exuberance since moulded into a mature growl, and damn if it doesn't sound great. This is dead simple, three chord political punk that is now a cherished part of Canadian music history.
