Sick and tired of hip hop albums that are 75% filler, with 27 skits, and maybe two full songs? Apparently so is Casual, of the Oakland, Calif. based Hieroglyphics crew (which includes Souls of Mischief, Prose, and Del Tha Funkee Homosapien). Sixteen very strong cuts, with Casual’s deep basso profundo voice, and worthy production skills by Evidence (Dilated Peoples), The Alchemist, and more.
