Among the latest wave of guitar whiz kids comes JW-Jones, who distinguishes himself by bending his strings to jumpin' blues jive. There's magic in them fingers alright, and Jones shows he can write 'em as well as play 'em by scribbling all but a couple of the tunes here. Interesting to see where this road leads, as several other former prodigies (Colin James, Gordie Johnson) have made drastically wide stylistic u-turns.
