Making power pop for adults is a risky proposition, few outside of the Weezers out there ever succeed, and that's cuz music television dictates success. Never mind the jangly guitars, perfect pitch harmonies, hummable choruses and catchy tunes; The Mayflies USA have no chance. Still they stubbornly continue to make stellar slabs, each one better than the last.
