Stepping out from his Rheostatics duties, prolific Martin Tielli shows off yet another solo record of quirky pace changes, enchanting story lines and Bowie's voice. He's always had Bowie's voice, and since Bowie ain't using it for much good these days, that ain't a bad thing. The tempo twists and herky jerky, turn on a dime mood swings may not thrill everyone, but those searching for a captivating cabaret style record of reach for the stars scope will surely find a warm home for this, his best one yet.
