Another nice collection of dreamy pop songs from a wonderful Canadian band. Still Life Fast Moving is probably the most consistently mellow release from these guys, but there are still a couple of tracks that have some intense rhythm accelerations. The album is loaded with the almost claustrophobic layers of static and feedback and effects that has always earmarked this band's work, as well as some really heavy guitar riffs that contrast beautifully with the gentle female lead vocals and the occasional perky little accordion bleat.
