GRACE IN GRAVITY
Grace in Gravity

There's a lot of bands out there taking risks and releasing their own CDs, but Grace in Gravity is different. Very different, thanks to 10 well-written folk-rock songs that are hard to pigeonhole. Just listen to Sue Vogel's vocals buoyed by Matt Stripplehoff's guitar and the potent rhythm section of Russ Dolezal on bass and Dave Horvath on drums on the radio-ready "Building Castles" and wistful "Through A Glass Darkly." "Down Around Me" reminded me a little of the traditional British band Steeleye Span, but Grace in Gravity have got their own sound and it's a good one that's getting noticed. This year, the band played the Lillith Fair at the Riverbend Festival in Ohio, but they're club regulars in their native Cincinnati. Check out pictures of Grace in Gravity with Lillith Fair organizer Sarah McLachlan online at the band's web site at http://www.graceingravity.com. They're ready for a record deal, one that will bring their unique sound to a much wider audience.
