This is the second "roots of acid jazz" collection produced by 32 Records Adam Dorn in his Mocean Worker personae, and it's a fine tribute to both his excellent taste and the quality of the 32 vaults. There are funk and soul jazz masterpieces from Les McCann, Grant Green, Catalyst and others, seasoned with a couple of Mocean Worker mixes that emphasize the timelessness of these sounds from decades past.

This is the kind of mix you'd make yourself if you had the source (which, thanks to 32 Records, *can* be had, if you're feeling creative) and it's sure to improve your next party. In fact, if you can't find a party, this is a great way to throw one in the privacy of your headphones.
