Everyone knew it was special when Johnny Thunders was leading his Heartbreakers in a sloppy, spirited, punky mish-mash of The Stones and The Stooges, but who knew the lasting effects of such a heroin stupor? Loose Lips line their guitars up in true New Yawk, seventies style pop punk: equal parts attitude and adrenaline. Songs like "Lipstick Heart" and "I Need More" work just as well in 2000, as they would have in '78. It's only rock'n'roll, but you need it.
