JUNO REACTOR
Masters Of The Universe (Metropolis)
Reviewed by Shaun Dale
To tide you and your dancing shoes over until their next full length, Juno
Reactor has provided five tasty remixes of "Masters Of The Universe," the
second cut from last year's Shango to get such extended treatment. If
"Pistolero" rocked your world, "Masters Of The Universe" is going to sweep
you away with tsunami force. Ben Watkins and his revolving crew of
Reactors have been out in front of the pack for nearly a decade now, and
they keep pushing ahead, incorporating everything from Zep styled guitars to
South African percussion into tracks that are as listenable as they are
danceable. With Juno Reactor, the question is not only when will the next
one be, but *what* will the next one be. With Masters Of The Universe, the
answer to the first question is now. The answer to the second is great.
Track List:
Masters Of The Universe (edit) * Eternal Basement Remix * Neon Remix *
Eternal Basement (12" mix) * Front 242 "Pure Remix"
