KILL YOUR IDOLS
Funeral For a Feeling (no label)

They’ve been called the hardest working band still bringing volatile, no mercy,
skippity punk rock to the punters, many of whom are sporting ink bearing their
name. The song "Madly" segues into "Young (At Heart)" with some cool guitar
swells and quick whacked-out feedback noise that sounds like a dying
refrigerator.
Their fresh way of approaching these seventeen songs rescues them from the
legions of lazy bands still playing "punk" because many started in the
garage a few years ago worshipping at the altar of Billie Joe & Co (Green Day).
Kill Your Idols seems like melodi-punk was a probably bit too nice
sounding for them to even consider, and would gladly take Peni or Discharge
over some jovial surf-core any time.
