Kind of cool trance techno stuff, not really the type of music you dance to
but great for sinking into a sofa and letting your mind go blank to, with
beats and riffs that repeat just enough times before being interrupted by
odd voice/noise samples or rhythm changes that keep this from being far from
tedious. Robin Rimbaud, aka Scanner, has written and performed soundtrack
music for countless television programs, especially for the BBC, and is
currently the Artist in Residence for BBC Radio 4's "Front Row" arts
program. These instrumentals are incredibly cool and soothing to listen to,
feeling, at times, as though the songs are hundreds of tracks deep, there's
so much going on.
