DUSTY MASON'S GRAVE COWBOYS
self-titled (Dusty's Music)
Reviewed by Holly Day
Yeah, this would be a good band to see in a bar. They've got that kind of
rough Americana country feel to them that lends itself well to alcohol and
cigarette smoke, sleazy in a friendly and tame sort of way and not so
intrusive that you'd be distracted from hitting on the person in the next
booth, like a half-assed Skynard cover band, except these are all original
songs. I don't know about sitting around and listening to it at home,
though, because it is so unobtrusive it doesn't really grab my attention.
But lots of people don't like to be bothered by what's playing on their
stereo, and for those people - yes! highly recommend this disc.
