Infectiously happy, psychedelic marching band music from Japan, full of odd sounding blips and whistles and trumpets and wind-up-toys -- especially appealing to six-year-olds, as I found out accidentally when I was listening to this while my son's friends were over for a visit. I suppose I can see the easy connection for them - it's like all that fun bubblegummy stuff that made its way into cartoon shows in the '70s, like the Archies and Scooby Doo with cool and bizarre sound effects added here and there to keep it from being totally giggly and sappy.
