MARTINA SORBARA
The Cure for Bad Deeds (Nettwerk Productions)

You know, this is just about impossible to really review, because this chick sounds so much like Tori Amos that it seems pointless to say much beyond that. The only real difference is that there's more complex instrumentation - or at least there's more instruments being used, which I assume is more complicated than just a piano with some backing accompaniment - and the subject matter is much tamer, so I guess if Tori Amos is too much a hard-core feminist for you but you like the way she sounds, this album is a more suburban-friendly alternative.
