The original vinyl of this, first released by Midnight back in '84, has long been one of many faves of the whole '80s "garage revival" scene. Much more psych than many, Plan 9 almost defied definition and later became much more jam/freeform but on this they're firmly rooted in that "acid punk" sound of '66/'67, with swirling fuzz guitars, organ and snarling vocals galore!
