It's not often I get something from Estrus that I really don't like. Maybe the Cherry Valance, I didn't dig that at all, and then there's this. It's a release that left me scratching my head wondering "Dave, what were you thinking?" The FFGs, simply put, are annoying. The "singer" is annoying, the music is arty and noise-filled and too herky jerky, with no discernible melodies. Plus. They're just not that good. I recall hearing them on a split single with Scared Of Chaka, and it didn't leave much of an impression. I had a really hard time getting through this CD and if I wasn't reviewing it, I would've just turned it off after song three.
