The Misfits covering syrupy fifties pop? I'm there. "This Magic Moment," "Runaway," "Donna" ... pinch me, hard. Too bad Danzig wasn't around for this ride down memory lane. Come to think of it Jerry Only finally earns his name by clearing house to be the sole Misfit on record. No matter, there's Dez Cadena from Black Flag on guitar and Marky Ramone on drums. A super power punk trio if ever there was one. Spirited versions of sappy luv tunes by old punks headed for the oldies circuit. Good fun if you ignore the bonus dvd disc which has the boys playing live in daylight at a ski hill. I'm not kidding. There's also material by a Japanese Misfits knockoff band Only is pushing. Enough already!
