I loved Keith Tyler's previous band, the Neckbones, whose two Fat Possum albums were great boozy garage-punk-blues. After the Neckbones split, Tyler formed this band while the rest joined up with Jack Yarber in the Cool Jerks, who are also excellent. Apparently there's an album previous to this, but it's rather hard to find. Well, this one is great. Lotsa Stones influence, kinda picks up where the Neckbones left off. I really dug "Animal Instinct" a lot, the T. Rex-ish "Sweet Bitch" and their cover of the Unnatural Axe's '70s punker "Summertime." There's even a song called "Death of a Rolling Stone." Rockin' stuff, indeed.
