It's basic survival 101 it is. Instead of letting family life disrupt their prolific recording career, Karen Peris and hubbie Don have embraced it with song. Very important songs that is: lullabies. Sleeping tykes is not only a cute picture, but a damn necessity for sanity, so as they say: what ever gets you through the night... There have been dreamy bedtime records before but none too many with this genuine, folksy touch. "Stay Awake" (not), "What a Wonderful World" (when you're sleeping) and "Now The Day Is Over" (the night can begin) will make eyelids flutter and mouths yawn, guaranteed. And how about "Edelweiss," best remembered from the cinematic snooze fest "The Sound of Music?" See, yer dropping off already. Trust me, you need this.
