San Diego blueswoman Michele Lundeen's debut CD features nine originals and three covers that range from slow and sultry to sassy jazz to down-home gut-bucket blues. Michelle is a force in the San Diego blues community: she's active in the local Blues in the Schools program and she's the editor of the widely-distributed Blues Festival Guide. She's received many local accolades for her work from the Blues Lovers United of San Diego (BLUSD), the San Diego Blues Challenge, the San Diego Music Awards. and she represented BLUSD at the Blues Foundation's annual International Blues Challenge at BB King's club on Beale Street in Memphis. Michele's Song Inside Me touches many important blues bases: "Voodoo Man" is pure swamp blues straight from Louisiana, "All Day Blues" features some fine acoustic slide guitar courtesy of Roy Rogers, and "I Need a Dog" is a blues rock workout that showcases Michele's estimable pipes.
