Here's where you'll find individual articles that ran in Cosmik Debris Magazine between January 1st and July 19th, 2004.

JOURNALIST & MUSICIAN ALAN WRIGHT: 1964-2004 - (28 June 2004) - He wrote music reviews, articles and did interviews in a staggering number of magazines over the past decade and more. He played drums in several fine bands, including The Earaches, with whom he was building a following and a rep for energetic, fun shows in Seattle. And he also wrote every review for the first three issues of Cosmik Debris back in 1995, as well as our first interview. We say goodbye to a sweet guy who died far, far too young.

UNDERRATED: The Faces - (25 April 2004) - Adam Blake brings back our long lost series, Underrated, with a heartfelt argument on behalf of The Faces. For the casual fan the focus has always been on Rod Stewart and Ronnie Wood, but there's more to this band's story.

TRYIN' TO GET TO ELVIS - (04 April 2004) - Adam Blake examines the music, the man, and the life, especially those amazing Sun sessions, trying to capture the meaning behind the mystique that is Elvis.

TALKIN 'BOUT A SPOONFUL - (22 Feb 2004) - For millions of kids in the 60s, "Spoonful" was a defining moment - or 17 minutes worth of them - for guitarist Eric Clapton of Britain's supergroup, Cream. Adam Blake compares this behemoth to an earlier 2:40-something masterpiece by Howlin' Wolf and his guitar ace, Hubert Sumlin. Bring your ears.

THE BALLAD OF FREE - (7 Feb 2004) - They were four very young musicians setting out on careers that would lead some to the top of the rock heap and one to a tragic end. It's sad, really, that most people only know their 1970 hit, "All Right Now," but Cosmik Debris' newest writer, Adam Blake, has the rest of the story for you.

BEST MUSIC OF 2003 - (10 Jan 2004) - It's that time of year again. Well, the beginning of the year, actually, which is when we all agonize over the long list of CDs and records we've reviewed over the past year and narrow it down to our five favorites. Take a look and see if some of your favorites found their way onto our lists, and maybe you'll also discover some titles that were under your radar last year.

A HIT OR AMISS - (1 Jan 2004) - They decide what bands to sign and songs to release HOW? WHO is that singer? DJ Johnson exposes all...

LET IT BE NAKED - (1 Jan 2004) - What's all this about the remake of the Let It Be album? Alan Wright tells you the story and compares the original with the naked.
