David Byrne won an Oscar once. It's true. And here's your chance to hold a slab which may put another shiny statue on his rec-room mantle. Saddling up with Scotch music marvels Belle and Sebastien, Mogwai and Delgados is enough cause for attention, but don't expect a full on pop masterpiece folks, this is, after all, a soundtrack. That means a lot of meandering, moody pieces; nice stuff but only if you desire atmospheric sound wallpaper. It makes the uppity pieces, and there are a few, that much brighter.
