A couple of New Duncan Imperials get together with a couple of other guys from the Krinkles and Poi Dog Pondering to form a '60s style garage band. Lots of fuzz 'n' Farfisa organ action here, danceable tunes like "Oh Yeah," "The Rattle" and "Can You Satisfy?" plus good cover song choices (Gestures, Harbinger Complex and Richard and the Young Lions). I never followed Poi Dog Pondering, I always thought they were hideously wimpy, but Dag's guitar playing here is rough and raunchy. Skipper handle the organs, and the bass when he's not playing the organ, with singer Sal taking over the bass when Skipper gets behind the Farfisa. Basic non-flashy, steady 4/4 drums by GT lay down a good foundation for rocking. Nothing new or terribly original here, but who cares, it's fun music!
