The 'Lectric Chairs are a fairly new band led by Marsh Gooch, who used to live in Seattle, and fronted the little-known band Squirt and penned stuff for the Rocket. Although he's not on this CD, Loren Molinare of the Dogs recently joined the band and had a hand in recording this here CD. Drummer Ken Mundy has also filled in as Dogs' drummer when their regular long-standing drummer Ron Wood wasn't able to, and in fact plays on two tunes on the aforementioned new Dogs CD. That said, these guys are actually quite similar to the Dogs musically, and on this short CD the rock action quotient in high indeed. They even do a song called "Janet Weiss" about the Sleater-Kinney member.
