Just in case you were wondering the whereabouts of all the industrial goth bands, they have taken up residence in Metropolis. Velvet Acid Christ, Front Line Assembly and even Peter Murphy for heaven's sake call this Philadelphia company home. And despite popular notion, new goth bands are springing up all the time. Take Dismantled and In Strict Confidence for example. Dismantled follow FLA in a decidedly ominous electro industrial approach. Big beefy machine beats, soaring walls of synthesizer stacks and guttural growl vocals. Ouchie! In Strict Confidence, a German he/she duo, are playing at the good/bad, guilt/religion, love/lust conflict game, in a dreamy call and response tactic from opposite sex vocals. Apparently the kids really dig this stuff.
