SIN CITY INJECTORS
Full On Custom... (Four On the Floor)

Reviewed by DJ Johnson

It doesn't take long to figure out what temple these guys worship at. It's in their name, too. Sin City Injectors. Goin' in... to Sin City. Yes, they have AC/DC-style rock and roll coursing through their veins, but these Wisconsin boys have tossed in so many other ingredients that it doesn't become old hat. While the Bon Scott-era AC/DC sound is definitely present on a few tracks, others have sounds ranging from a kinda-sorta rockabilly to a maybe-alittle E-Street and even just a touch of Boomtown Rats (at least on "Lolita"). All of this is delivered with sincere rock and roll spirit and plenty of punch. A very listenable album by a band that's probably just a few albums away from perfecting their own sound. They can really play, so they're halfway there. Oh, and kudos to the guy who's workin' the wah-wah pedal all over this thing. It's a lost art, at least when it comes to doing it right, and this tickled the spine just like it should.
