Finally, a reissue of this classic album by Boston's DMZ! If you don't know who these guys were and are at all into garage rock, do yourself a favor and get this. Back when this came out in 1978, I don't think many people knew what to make of it. Produced by former Turtles members Flo and Eddie, this is eleven songs of garage rock mayhem. Sure, it's a bit slicker than what their live sets were like, and certainly more produced than their Bomp! EP, but it sure rocks. Original tunes like "Mighty Idy," "Bad Attitude," " Watch For Me Girl," "Don't Jump Me Mother," "Destroyer" and "Do Not Enter" bridged the gap between the Stooges and their '50s R&B and '60s punk influences. They were covering the Sonics' "Cinderella" way before about anyone else - and if you believe Mono Man's liner notes to this, the drummer broke his wrist while they were recording this - not to mention them doing the Wailers' "Out Of Our Tree" and the Troggs "From Home."
