Gary Pig Gold left the ice and snow (not to mention the horrifically deteriorating Top 40 airwaves) of Canada over two decades ago, after launching that country's very first rock 'n' pop fanzine then punk record co., only to follow Jan & Dean on a musical safari to Surf City, before ending up manning the nightshift at a Vancouver 7-11 instead, next moving on and in to an illegal sublet on Manhattan's uppity East Side (upon signing with the former Teenage Head lead screamer to the Russian Melodiya label), only to then form a Maximum Rhythm 'n' Bluegrass band which almost got a song into the second Brady Bunch movie, and now runs quite the up-and-coming wee indie label based directly out of the Heights of ole New Jersey, USA.
